Q:     What if I can’t find my school in the application’s drop down box?
A:     First, check both the City and the School Name drop down lists for alternative spellings or abbreviations of your city or school name. For instance, look for St. as well as Saint and Mt. as well as Mount. Next, remember that schools are located by their official mailing addresses, so make sure you’re looking under the correct city. If you attend a school with multiple campuses, be sure to choose the correct campus. If you still can’t find your school, email our customer service center for help. In the comments section of the contact form, enter your schools’ full name and complete mailing address.
Q:     If my school doesn’t rank students, what should I enter under class rank?
A:     Class rank is a required data element. If your high school does not rank students, please work with your guidance office to provide an estimate of class rank along with your class size. You can use your class rank as of the end of your junior year.
Q:     In the academics section of the application, how do I correctly record honors courses?
A:     It is important to record your Honors courses accurately. If you record a course as AP or IB, do not count it again as an Honors course.  If you are unsure as to which your qualifies as, consult your school counselor or academic advisor before submitting your final application.
Q:      How do I correctly record my school activities?
A:      Only enter school-sponsored activities such as choir, drama club, or foreign language club. You should not include interscholastic sports activities that you included in the athletics section of the application.
Q:      If I’ve never had a job or done any volunteer service, what should I put in the community involvement section of the application?
A:     For each grade or summer that you did not work or volunteer, please choose 0 from the dropdown menu.

About the review process:

Q:     Who can perform my application review?

Q:     How will my reviewer know that it’s time to review my application?

A:     If you have not yet completed and submitted your application, you can change your reviewer’s email address by logging into your account. Remember to click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the screen after you make the correction. Reviewers will only be sent an email once the application has been submitted.
