What did winning the Heisman mean to you? "The title "Heisman" represents both an honor and a challenge to me: it comes with the lifelong reward of being part of the Heisman family and the lifelong challenge to achieve personally and professionally, while continually giving back to the community. By winning the Wendy's High School Heisman, I joined another family that I'm incredibly proud to be a part of, and I strive to contribute to the family's growing list of accomplishments and uphold the standard of excellence the Heisman name entails. I'm continually amazed by the achievements of my fellow alumni and look forward to welcoming new members to the WHSH family!" What advice do you have for this year's finalist and their families? "My advice to this year's finalists is to ignore your
homework, disregard your training schedules, forget about
the club meetings you're missing, and enjoy this experience
to the fullest! In addition to 11 new Facebook friends,
you will leave this weekend with lifelong memories. Also,
your parents are extremely proud of you and just got a free
trip to New York City, so now is a good time to ask for
a car."

What did winning the Heisman mean to you? "The Wendy's High School Heisman program has given me a since of pride and duty to uphold the values and expectations that come along with being a National Winner. It means so much to me to be a National Winner, but even more to my family and community that have helped me become the person I am today." What advice do you have for this year's finalist and their families? "I would ask the finalists to take in the weekend, the sights, the smells, and especially the people. Past National Winners include Teachers, Doctors, School Administrators, Business Leaders, Professional Athletes, Physical Therapists, Business Owners and Students. We are all a family here and our goal is to help each other succeed and to make this world a better place."
