We would like to extend our applause to the 2012 Wendy’s High School Heisman school winners! Each and every school winner should be extremely proud of their achievements, as we received tens of thousands of applications for the program. The school winners can be found on the 2012 Results page and have been announced to the press.
The school winners automatically move on to compete in the state portion of the program. This coming Monday, October 29, State Finalists will be announced on the 2012 Results page and to the press.

All school winners will receive a certificate and Heisman letterman patch which will be mailed to the home address you provided on your application. In addition, all school winners will also move on to be considered as one of their state’s finalists which will be announced this coming Monday, October 29. I am very excited to be named the Wendy’s Heisman winner from my school. I have seen other winners announced in their local paper. Should I contact my local paper or do you guys do that?
I was shocked to find out that my son Derrick won the Wendys Heisman for his school but we had no idea? Is there a way to find out if the media here was notified and when do the patches get mailed out?

Local media were alerted of all winners throughout the month during the various stages of the announcements. If he hasn’t already, Derrick should be receiving his patch and certificate in the mail at the address he provided in his application.
